After a few busy weeks of travel and everything that comes with that, such as being skint we had a very quiet week. I mostly played Zelda on my Nintendo Switch, it has taken me a while to really get into the new game but I’m fully addicted to it now. I’m at that point where I don’t want it to end but that is the great thing about this game, even if you finish the main storyline there is so much more to explore.
We had a meeting with our financial advisor this week about pensions which was thrilling. But it is important to get things like this in place for when you are older so we do regular checkups.
The other only real thing to happen this week was the delivery of our new footstool. We had a coffee table in our lounge which was lovely but I really miss being able to put my feet up and especially since hurting my knee it really helps to stretch my muscles out so we bought the matching footstool for our sofa. It is lovely, it’s massive which is perfect because we intend to put a tray on it for when we have drinks etc. So much easier to relax now.
I don’t think I actually took any pictures this week which is so unlike me but after a busy few weeks I think I was starting to feel a bit tired and overwhelmed and when I feel like this I like to shut myself off from the world for a few days and reset. It works a treat for me, but I understand it’s not for everyone.
