Week 36. 2022.

Week 36. 2022.

It’s been a fairly quiet week here. It’s starting to feel more and more Autumnal finally, and I cannot wait for snuggly jumpers and crunchy leaves. Basic PSL girl over here!

My week started with selling more items through Vinted, and I spent most of my days walking between different convenience stores, dropping off parcels. I think, though, that they may have been the last ones. I have a few items that have been on there for a while now that aren’t shifting, so I will likely close the shop down and take the best of the items to my local charity shop. It felt really good to get this done though. It’s a big job that I have been putting off for such a long time and freed up a lot of room in my loft.

I finally got around to watching LOTR: Rings of Power and wow. I love it. I am a self-confessed LOTR fan. I read the books many times, and watch the films at least once a year (extended version only) so had high expectations for this show. It is so good, the way they just casually introduce us to some of the biggest characters from the LOTR universe. I can’t wait to see more of this show.

In Disney news, because let’s face it there’s probably Disney news every week on here, I downloaded the new game Dreamlight Valley on my Nintendo Switch. Being obsessed is an understatement. It’s a lot like Animal Crossing but Disney, and they even have Scrooge as the Tom Nook character. It’s still in beta testing and very buggy but still playable. I can’t wait to unlock more areas and characters as I progress in the game. Continuing with the Disney theme, my Halloween Pjs arrived ready for DLP next month.

Finally, my week rounded off with a quick trip to Cheltenham for a friend’s party. We stayed at the Malmaison to make it easier without having to worry about rushing for the last train. Typically we were the last ones standing at the party. I had such a lovely time catching up with friends, and in fact, I had such a lovely time I only took one very blurry photo. The hotel was lovely, we have stayed here before but this time ended up with a room on the top floor with a surprise balcony and seats. We sat out and ate some snacks watching the sunset before we headed to the party. A lovely unexpected surprise.

It’s another week that I think, oh I haven’t really done anything. I’m enjoying looking back at the week through this blog and find it really cathartic just talking into space like this. Can’t wait to see what the next week has in store for me.
